24 years of experience working closely with people as a hairdresser has led me to work towards my Master of Social Work degree. My goal is to be of aid and advocate for those from marginalized communities in gaining resources to support their physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being. I believe that mindfulness, nature, and movement are some of the most powerful tools we can use, and I hope to be a part of breaking down barriers by creating equitable access to these tools. Other interests of mine are cooking, hiking, dancing, gardening, and LEGO.

I graduated from Sonoma State University in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in queer studies, currently enrolled in the Master of Social Work program at San Jose State University
