I spent many years in the information technology field, where I honed my analytical skills and developed a passion for problem-solving. However, my journey took a significant turn as I faced personal challenges that led me to seek help through 12-step recovery programs. Over more than two decades, I have not only worked on healing from trauma but have also had the privilege of sponsoring others in their recovery journeys. This experience has deepened my understanding of the complexities of trauma and addiction, and it has reinforced my belief in the power of community and support.
Now I am training to become a Marriage and Family Therapist, eager to leverage my experiences to help others navigate their paths to healing. I believe that my background in technology has equipped me with a unique perspective on resilience and adaptability, while my time in recovery has given me a profound capacity to attune to clients from trauma backgrounds. I am committed to creating a safe and empathetic space for those seeking to overcome their struggles, drawing on both my professional and personal experiences to guide them toward recovery.
