Certified Wellness Coach II

Under The Supervision of Grayson Liam Thompson, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #160044

I am a sixth-generation Sonoma County native, born and raised in Santa Rosa, and I feel incredibly fortunate to call this community home. Giving back and making a positive difference in the lives of others has always been important to me, both personally and professionally. I earned my BA in Elementary Education and began my career as a first-grade teacher. After starting a family, I returned to work as a Mentor Coordinator at Roseland University Prep, where I created and implemented a mentoring program for first-generation, college-bound students. It was through this experience that I discovered how much I loved working with teenagers. I was inspired by their resilience, individuality, and potential, and I developed a deep appreciation for the opportunity to support them during such an important stage of their lives. I recently earned my Wellness Coach Certificate and am excited to continue building on my passion for working with teens. I hope to be a supportive and trusted presence for students as they navigate these challenges, helping them recognize their strengths, build confidence, and develop the tools they need to thrive. My commitment to young people extends beyond my professional work. I am the varsity flag football coach at Montgomery High School, where I have the privilege of mentoring and encouraging student-athletes both on and off the field.

Outside of work, family is at the center of my life. I have been married to my husband, Dave, for 25 years, and together we have three children, all currently in college. We spend much of our time traveling to visit them and making the most of our time together. I also love staying active through working out, hiking, and spending time outdoors with family and friends. I have always had a passion for music, and have been a singer most of my life. I am passionate about connection, community, and helping young people become the healthiest, happiest, and most confident versions of themselves.
