Guess what song we are listening to?
One of my first unconditional relationships
I am the one in the sweet overalls. The other two are my sisters who's relationship runs through my fibers as a human being. The two of them ARE part of the purpose of my practice. Our biological sisterhood has taught me that relationships are not all about being equal but about being equitable.
People give each what they CAN give and everyone is trying to get what they NEED. The trick is finding the people who will unconditionally accept what you CAN give and finding people who will do their best to give you what you NEED. Might not always be the people you want but our ability to connect and love is what impacts who we are and what we become.
Wife
Amazing Wedding and Marriage...two very different things
My chosen unconditional LOVE partner
You do not get to choose your family but you get to choose everyone else. My husband and I chose each other a very long time ago when we were young and did not over think our feelings...there is ease in simplicity. Choosing to be with someone for life is a commitment that is not perfected but an action of shear will, choice and desire to be with each other everyday.
Mother
SO OVERWHELMED and blessed
The deepest understanding of unconditional LOVE
There are not many words that describe this experience. I only know that I am scared and grateful everyday to be able to love them and earn their love in return.
Motherhood requires a community that allows you to learn, change and know that you are NOT alone. We use to live in a world that was an "actual village" who cared for the caregivers so the caregivers had something to give...we need to go back to this model, OUR future depends it.
