A Peer Support Group for Fathers

Hey Dad! is an in-person peer support group where fathers and male caregivers can build on their strengths, share experiences, and support one another through the ups and downs of parenting.

Led by a trained Facilitators, this group offers a space to explore the funny, confusing, uncertain, and mysterious experiences of fatherhood in a supportive environment.

How the Group Works

Hey Dad! is a closed group, which means:

  • The same members meet each session

  • Membership stays consistent during the series

  • Trust, safety, and connection can grow over time

Each session may include:

  • Sharing stories and experiences

  • Asking questions and getting support from other dads

  • Discussion on the humorous, confusing, uncertain, and meaningful parts of parenting

  • Guided conversation by a facilitator to keep the group safe, focused, and supportive

Group Goals

Hey Dad! is designed to:

  • Offer a supportive space for fathers to grow

  • Build connection and mutual understanding among dads with similar experiences

  • Support early reflection and personal growth in the role of fatherhood

Group Details

When: Starting March 4, 2026 6 weekly group meetings Wednesdays 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Where: Keystone Therapy & Training Services, 4415 Sonoma Hwy. Santa Rosa, CA 95409

These services will be provided in English

Cost:

  • Free for Partnership Medi-Cal participants

  • $25 per session for Private Insurance participants

    • $150 total for the full group series, paid upfront

  • $15 cancellation fee for both Medi-Cal and Private Insurance participants

  • Sessions are held in person only at Keystone Therapy & Training Services located at 4415 Sonoma Hwy, Santa Rosa, CA.

  • No. Children are not able to attend sessions so that fathers and caregivers can focus fully on their own experiences and growth.

Before joining, every participant completes a pre-group interview to help ensure the group is a good fit and to clarify goals and expectations. A group informational session may be offered before the group starts.
