Hello! My name is Jasleen, and I am proud to be a first-generation daughter of immigrant parents. Witnessing the challenges and lack of support within my community has deeply inspired me to pursue a career in Psychology. Through my work and volunteering with various Sikh organizations, I have observed the pervasive effects of generational trauma, which has fueled my passion to become an advocate and resource for my community. My goal is to educate and raise awareness about the importance of mental, physical, and spiritual well-being, as all these aspects contribute to the richness of the human experience. As a proud Sikh and Punjabi, I aspire to embrace my cultural identity through my future work as a clinician, advocating for healing and growth within my community.
